We do have a template and tutorial for smaller flowers that can be used for boutonnieres etc. I've never seen that error message either relating to the newsletter sign up. It certainly is a time commitment and if craft projects aren't your favorite thing, then it's going to take a really long time :) But others find the time and effort worthwhile as you save so much money. To make things a little easier plan well in advance and give yourself many weeks to create the invitations. A little at a time will keep you sane and will keep them all looking great.

what size square envelopes for the 10" version??

This will depend on the size invitation you are using. If you are using the 5.25" square invitation you can use a 5.5" square envelope, or slightly larger.

Hi Latoya, yes, 10" doilies are very hard to find! I'd like to say our tutorial caused a worldwide shortage on them :) We updated the tutorial to use 8" doilies as these are easy to find. Yes! The same template can be used. The 8" doilies won't cross over as far on the invitation. Look at the updated video for how the invitation and doily will look. I think it looks nicer as more of the invitation shows through the doily.

Excellent question. The price will depend on how much you pay for the doilies. You'll need 2-3 cans of spray paint, 50 sheets of paper plus a few extras to print test copies, toner for your printer, envelopes and doilies. As a very rough estimate I think you'll spend between $60-$70, plus the price of the invitation template.

I recommend paper between 65 lbs and 90 lbs. Choose the heaviest paper that your printer will print on without jamming. Here is a list of our favorite paper: www.downloadandprint.com/paper-and-envelopes/

Anything you can imagine can be done! I suggest buying a small quantity of circle doilies and seeing how you like them with the invitation.

Hi, when I print invitations I use the fine print setting. This is not the fastest way to print but it gives the best results.

Hi Bill, I've never used TRF so can't comment from experience. However, my gut feeling is it will not work. The vellum is very flimsy which is not good with TRF, and vellum is often used as a protective cover sheet going into the laminator, which makes me think the foil won't adhere to it. If anyone else can speak from experience please chime in!

Vellum paper is a translucent paper, often with a sheen, and it's quite slick. It's usually clear, but comes in many colors. There's a link to it on our website: www.downloadandprint.com/paper-and-envelopes/ I would think any large craft store in your country would carry it, or if you have an Amazon.com equivalent you could try there. Hi! Yes, it would work. You would also need to make sure your enclosure cards don't exceed 5" tall. Our typical RSVP cards are 3.5" x 5" and we have some directions cards that are 4 x 6". You would need to use a directions card that is also 3.5" x 5". Have fun with the project!
